When should I hire a Doula?It’s best to hire a Doula early in your pregnancy to build a relationship and allow them to support you throughout your journey. However, Doulas can also be hired later in pregnancy or even just for labor and delivery support.

Do you only assist with natural births?No, we support all types of births, whether you choose to have an unmedicated delivery, an epidural, or a planned cesarean. Our goal is to ensure you feel empowered and supported, regardless of your birth plan.

How do you personalize your services?Every client is unique. During our initial consultation, we’ll discuss your preferences, goals, and any concerns you have. From there, we tailor our services to meet your specific needs, including physical comfort techniques, emotional support strategies, and informational resources.

Do you work with partners during labor?Absolutely! We work alongside your partner or support person to enhance their involvement and provide guidance so they feel confident and helpful during the birthing process.

FAQ: Are your services covered by insurance?While some insurance plans or health savings accounts (HSAs) may cover Doula services, it varies. We recommend checking with your provider. We can provide an invoice for reimbursement if needed. Arizona: Doula services are covered by Medicaid (AHCCCS) as of October 2024. Indiana: Doula services are covered by Medicaid. Tennessee: Doula services are covered under TennCare pilot programs and other state-funded initiatives.
